Conscious Christmas Giving

Well, here we are in December... how the heck did that happen? Ah well... this just means there will soon be more mashed potatoes to look forward to!

So, let's talk holiday season! We often have some mixed feelings this time of year. As a small business, we love the buzz this season creates in store, but as stewards of the earth, we steer away from the overconsumption this time of year brings.

So we ask ourselves, how can we reconcile those two seemingly conflicting ideas, and create a beautiful, positive impact on our community?  As always, we believe the answer lies in Conscious Consumerism. Thinking globally while acting locally. Asking questions about where things came from, what they're made of, and where they'll end up. Choosing companies with high ethical values for their staff & for the earth.  

Of course, this is how we think about all items that land at Local Refillery. We aren’t perfect, but we put our time, energy and resources into curating a selection that we can all feel good about. We try to take the overwhelm away, so you can relax and choose what works for you, because we have put the time into making sure it works for ALL of us.

This season, our goal is to help you give meaningful, needed, and useful gifts that will be appreciated for a long time... or maybe gobbled up right away.
