Better in Bulk? - Big Bags of Bulk Edition

Better in Bulk?

Buying in Larger Quantities Saves Money!

So, you're already buying in bulk (look at you go! 👏), but - with escalating food costs - you're also looking for ways to save money.

Today we're going to talk about a different kind of bulk. Bulk food bags. Not the awesome fabric ones you fill with all your goodies when you shop. We're talking the BIG bags of dried goods.

These are a great way to save money, and work really well if you have a few people to share the quantity with. Take a look at this:

True Grain White Flour, Untreated, BC Organic
2kg Bag: $14.50
10kg Bag: $60.00
20kg Bag: $90.00

Per kilogram, it works out to:
Bulk $6.50/kg
2kg Bag = $7.25/kg
10kg Bag = $6.00/kg
20kg Bag = $4.50/kg

Wowza! In addition to flours, we also carry lentils, beans, rice, and more! Generally speaking, bulk bags work out to be about 20-30% cheaper than buying per 100g. Pretty good savings!
